
Instructions:
- 1Stand or sit upright with your neck aligned with your spine
- 2Gently lower your ear towards your shoulder
- 3Slowly roll your head forward and around to your other shoulder, keeping your shoulders relaxed
- 4Lift your head back to the starting position, completing the half circle movement
- 5Repeat for the suggested number of reps, then switch sides
Tips:
- Do this exercise in a slow and controlled manner to avoid injury
- Do not roll your head backwards as it can put undue stress on the neck
- Avoid tensing your shoulders during this exercise
- If discomfort is felt at any point, return to a neutral head position
