Instructions:

  • 1Stand with your feet hip-width apart and the barbell in front of you
  • 2Bend at your knees and hips to grab the barbell
  • 3Explosively stand up, pulling the barbell up to your chest
  • 4Split your legs into a lunge position as you catch the barbell at your shoulders
  • 5Return to the start position and repeat

Tips:

  • Keep your back straight throughout the movement
  • Use your hips and legs to generate the power to lift the barbell rather than your arms
  • Keep the barbell as close to your body as possible during the movement
  • Ensure to evenly distribute your weight when you split your legs
