
Instructions:
- 1Lay on your back with your hands behind your head and knees raised, keeping the lower leg parallel to the floor
- 2Lift your upper body off the floor and twist your upper body to the right while trying to touch your right elbow to your left knee
- 3Return to the start position in a controlled manner
- 4Repeat the motion, now twisting to the left
- 5Repeat the procedure for the desired number of reps switching sides for each rep
Tips:
- Make sure to exhale as you lift your upper body off the ground and inhale as you come back to the starting position
- Keep your lower back pressed to the ground to prevent injuries and maximize abdominal engagement
- Avoid pulling your neck with your hands, the lifting should be done by your abdominal muscles
- Try to fully twist your torso with each rep to engage your obliques to the maximum
