Instructions:

  • 1Stand straight, on the balls of your feet, and hands on your hips
  • 2Take a big step to the right with your right foot, keeping your left foot in place
  • 3Touch the floor lightly with your right tip toes, then push off from the floor and bring yourself back to the start
  • 4Repeat the same movement to the left side with your left foot
  • 5Continue these steps at a quick and steady pace

Tips:

  • Keep your chest out and back straight during the exercise
  • Make sure to use your whole foot to step sideways not just the toes
  • Maintain a fast pace to get your heart rate up
  • Ensure your body is warm before starting this exercise to prevent injury
