- 1Stand straight, on the balls of your feet, and hands on your hips
- 2Take a big step to the right with your right foot, keeping your left foot in place
- 3Touch the floor lightly with your right tip toes, then push off from the floor and bring yourself back to the start
- 4Repeat the same movement to the left side with your left foot
- 5Continue these steps at a quick and steady pace

- Keep your chest out and back straight during the exercise
- Make sure to use your whole foot to step sideways not just the toes
- Maintain a fast pace to get your heart rate up
- Ensure your body is warm before starting this exercise to prevent injury
