Instructions:

  • 1Start in a squat position with your hands close to your right knee
  • 2Bring your hands upwards in a swift motion as if you were swinging an axe
  • 3Twist your torso while maintaining a slight bend in your knees
  • 4End the motion over your left shoulder
  • 5Slowly return to the starting position and repeat before switching sides

Tips:

  • The power of the movement should come from your hips and your core
  • Keep your back flat and core engaged throughout the exercise
  • Avoid locking your knees
  • Try to establish a smooth and continuous rhythm
