Instructions:

  • 1Hold the dumbbell close to your chest
  • 2Lower into a squat by bending your knees
  • 3At the bottom, pause and perform a calf raise
  • 4Lower your heels back to the ground
  • 5Push back up to the starting position

Tips:

  • Ensure your back remains straight throughout the exercise
  • When lowering into the squat, aim for your thighs to be parallel with the floor
  • Squeeze your glutes as you push back up
  • Perform the calf raise with control, not speed
