Instructions:

  • 1Lie down on a flat bench with your legs hanging off the end
  • 2Hold onto the bench behind your head for support
  • 3Raise your legs until they are perpendicular to your torso
  • 4Hold this position for a moment
  • 5Lower your legs back to the starting position in a controlled manner

Tips:

  • Keep your legs straight throughout the exercise
  • Do not use your arms to pull your body up, focus on using your abdominal muscles
  • Exhale when you raise your legs and inhale as you lower them back down
  • Ensure your back remains flat on the bench throughout the exercise
