Instructions:

  • 1Stand tall with your arms extending in front of you, shoulder width apart
  • 2Pull your hands towards your waist as if you're rowing a boat
  • 3Squeeze your shoulder blades together at the top of the movement
  • 4Return to the starting position in a controlled manner
  • 5Repeat for the desired number of repetitions

Tips:

  • Keep your core engaged throughout the exercise to protect your lower back
  • Avoid hunching or rounding your back
  • Try to pull your elbows back as far as possible for maximum muscle engagement
  • Control the movement speed, avoid any jerky motions
