Instructions:

  • 1Lie down on your back on the flat bench.
  • 2Hold the barbell over your chest with arms fully extended.
  • 3Lower the barbell to your chest in a controlled manner.
  • 4Press the barbell back up until your arms are straight.
  • 5Repeat for the desired number of reps.

Tips:

  • Keep your feet firmly on the ground to maintain stability.
  • Do not arch your back. Keep your body aligned.
  • Control the movement during the entire exercise.
  • Exhale while pushing the barbell up, inhale while lowering it.
