Instructions:

  • 1Stand or sit on the assisted pull-up machine with your knees on the pad, placing your hands on the chin-up bar using an underhand grip
  • 2Lower your body, allowing your arms to fully extend
  • 3Pull yourself up until your chin is level with the pull-up bar
  • 4Hold this position briefly, then slowly lower yourself back to the start

Tips:

  • Keep your core engaged throughout the exercise
  • Avoid allowing your body to swing or use momentum to lift yourself
  • Try to maintain control rather than relying on the machine too much
  • Focus on using your back muscles to pull yourself up
