Instructions:

  • 1Lie down flat on your back on a mat with your arms by your sides
  • 2Keep one foot flat on the ground and straighten the other leg towards the ceiling
  • 3Point the toes of the raised leg as far as you can
  • 4Hold the position for a few seconds
  • 5Lower the leg back down and repeat for the other leg

Tips:

  • Ensure your back is flat against the ground throughout the exercise
  • Concentrate on flexing your calf muscles as you're pointing your toes
  • Perform the exercise in a slow and controlled manner
