
Instructions:
- 1Stand upright, hold a dumbbell in each hand by your sides at arm's length.
- 2Position yourself to the side of a bench, step-up on the bench with one leg and push through the heel to straighten it.
- 3Lower your body back to the starting position in a controlled fashion.
- 4Repeat with the opposite leg.
- 5Perform the desired number of reps before resting.
Tips:
- Keep your back straight and your core engaged throughout the exercise.
- Make sure to fully extend your working leg on top of the step before stepping down.
- Avoid jumping or using your back leg momentum to step up.
- Always control your movements to ensure muscle engagement.
