Instructions:

  • 1Stand straight with your feet shoulder-width apart
  • 2Extend your arms out to your sides at shoulder height
  • 3With one quick, swift motion twist your torso to one side
  • 4Return to the starting position and then twist on the other side
  • 5Continue the exercise while flexing your chest muscles during the twisting motion

Tips:

  • Keep your posture straight and your core tight
  • Avoid twisting your hips, focus mostly on the upper body rotation
  • Breathe out while twisting and inhale when returning to the center
  • Focus on the contraction of your chest muscles during the twist
