Instructions:

  • 1Stand in an upright position
  • 2Extend your arms upwards and grasp the bar with a wide grip
  • 3Pull the bar down towards your chest while stepping backwards
  • 4Return to the initial position in a controlled manner
  • 5Repeat the movement for the desired reps

Tips:

  • Engage your core to maintain balance while stepping back
  • Focus on using your back muscles and not just your arms to pull down
  • Keep your back straight during the exercise
  • Breath out as you pull the bar down and breath in on the way back up
