Instructions:

  • 1Stand with your feet hip-width apart and bend your knees slightly
  • 2Extend your arms in front of you parallel to the floor
  • 3Step to the side and pull your elbows back while pinching your shoulder blades together
  • 4Return to the starting position and repeat action to the other side
  • 5Perform the exercise for the desired number of repetitions

Tips:

  • Keep your back straight and head up
  • Exhale while you pull and inhale as you return to starting position
  • Ensure the movement is slow and controlled to maximize muscle contraction
  • Do not allow your hands to stray below shoulder level when pulling back
