Instructions:

  • 1Sit on the ground with your knees bent and your heels about a foot from your butt.
  • 2Lie back onto the floor, extending your arms above your head.
  • 3Use your abs to pull your body up and touch your elbows to your knees.
  • 4Slowly lower yourself back to the starting position.
  • 5Repeat for the desired number of reps.

Tips:

  • Keep your movements controlled to engage your abs more.
  • Exhale as you sit up and inhale as you lay back down.
  • Try to keep your feet fixed on the ground to isolate the abs.
  • Avoid pulling with your neck; use your abs to raise your body.
