Instructions:

  • 1Start in a high lunge position with your right foot forward
  • 2Twist your torso to the right, bringing your left elbow to the outside of your right knee
  • 3Press your palms together in prayer position
  • 4Hold this position for 5-10 breaths, then release and switch sides

Tips:

  • Keep your back leg strong and straight
  • Try to stack your shoulders on top of each other
  • Pull your heart forward to deepen the twist
  • Breathe deeply throughout the pose
