Instructions:

  • 1Set up the leverage machine to match your height, and adjust the pad to fit snugly against your lower leg.
  • 2Grasp the machine handles for support.
  • 3Extend one leg against the resistance until it is almost fully extended.
  • 4Slowly return the leg to the original position.
  • 5Repeat the exercise with the same leg before switching to the other.

Tips:

  • Always keep control of the motion, do not let the weight control you.
  • Avoid arching your back. Maintain good posture throughout the exercise.
  • Flex your quad at the top of each extension for extra contraction.
  • Exhale when you extend your leg, and inhale when you return to the starting position.
