Instructions:

  • 1Stand with your feet hip-width apart
  • 2Bend slightly at the knees and push off with one foot, as if you were about to swim
  • 3Extend the opposite arm forward and then pull it back towards your body
  • 4Repeat this motion with your other foot and arm, giving the appearance of swimming, while stepping back
  • 5Continue in a controlled and rhythmic fashion

Tips:

  • Remain mindful of your balance at all times
  • Perform the exercise at your own pace, do not rush
  • If possible, use a mirror to check your form and ensure your movements are correct
  • Keep your core engaged throughout the exercise
