Twist Turn Slam (female)

Instructions:

  • 1Stand tall with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent
  • 2Hold the imaginary ball in front of your chest
  • 3Twist your torso to the right, turning your right foot as you do so, and pretend to toss the imaginary ball over your right shoulder
  • 4Quickly rotate your torso to the left, pivoting on your right foot, and act as if catching the imaginary ball over your left shoulder
  • 5Immediately twist and pretend to slam the ball down at your right foot

Tips:

  • Perform movements quickly for an aerobic effect
  • Stay light on your feet and use your bodywork to maintain balance
  • Always keep your abs engaged to aid twisting
  • Remember to breathe, inhaling when twisting and exhaling when slamming
