
Instructions:
- 1Hold the dumbbell with both hands and lift it overhead.
- 2Keep your elbow stable and only move your forearm to lower the dumbbell behind your head.
- 3Lift the dumbbell back up until your arms are fully extended.
- 4Keep your upper arms and elbows close to your head through the movement.
- 5Exercise should be done in a slow and controlled manner.
Tips:
- Try to spot a point in the ceiling and aim the dumbbell towards it to ensure you're moving in the right direction.
- Avoid straining your neck. Keep it neutral throughout the movement.
- Do not lock your elbows at the top of the extension.
- Do not use your back or shoulders to lift the dumbbell, this is a tricep exercise.
