Instructions:

  • 1Stand upright and hold a stick in both hands with your palms facing down
  • 2Raise the stick above your head and widen your grip
  • 3Lean your body towards one side while keeping your arms straight
  • 4Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds
  • 5Repeat on the other side

Tips:

  • Keep your body straight and only lean to the sides
  • Avoid jerky movements to prevent injury
  • Inhale as you lean to the side and exhale as you return to the centre
  • Ensure your hands are wider than shoulder-width apart for optimal stretching
