V-up Hold (male)

V-up Hold demonstration gif

Instructions:

  • 1Lie down on your back on the floor
  • 2Lift your legs and torso at the same time, to form a V shape with your body
  • 3Reach your hands towards your feet
  • 4Hold this position for a few seconds
  • 5Slowly lower your body back to the initial position

Tips:

  • Try to keep your legs straight throughout the exercise
  • You should feel a contraction in your abs and quads
  • Make sure you keep your back straight and your shoulders off the floor during the hold
  • Breathe slowly and keep your movements controlled
