Pick and Carry (female)

Instructions:

  • 1Start by squatting down, keeping your back straight and chest lifted
  • 2Pick up an imaginary object from the ground
  • 3Stand back up, still holding the imaginary object
  • 4Walk around for a few steps, then squat back down and 'place' the object on the ground
  • 5Repeat this motion throughout the exercise

Tips:

  • Be careful to maintain a good posture throughout the exercise
  • Squat down by bending your knees, not your back
  • To increase difficulty, hold an actual object while performing the exercise
  • Ensure you are properly warmed up with some light cardio before beginning this vibrant plyometric movement
