Sweep March (female)

Sweep March demonstration gif

Instructions:

  • 1Start in a standing position with your feet hip-width apart
  • 2Bend your right knee and lift it as high as comfortable and simultaneously sweep your left arm forward
  • 3Put your right foot down and simultaneously lower your left arm
  • 4Repeat the motion with your left knee and right arm
  • 5Breathe rhythmically and continue the alternating movements for desired amount of time or repetitions

Tips:

  • Keep your back straight throughout the exercise
  • Ensure your sweeping arm synchronizes with the opposing leg's movement
  • Aim to maintain a consistent pace throughout
  • Focus on reaching as high as possible while lifting your leg
