Instructions:

  • 1Start by holding a barbell at the shins with a wider than shoulder-width grip
  • 2Pull the barbell up to your chest in one fluid motion, dropping into a squat as you do so
  • 3Push the barbell overhead explosively, while using the momentum to rise from the squat
  • 4Lower the barbell back to the starting position on the floor
  • 5Repeat the motion for a series of reps

Tips:

  • Aim for quick bursts of power during each movement
  • Make sure to keep a proper form to avoid injuries
  • Begin with a lighter weight first and gradually increase as your strength builds
  • Remember to breathe: inhale when lowering the weights, and exhale when lifting
