Instructions:

  • 1Stand straight and hold the stick with both hands at hip level
  • 2Descriptively, imagine a large 8 figure in front of you. Move the stick to sketch the 8 figure
  • 3Make sure to get your upper body involved by twisting your torso
  • 4Repeat this movement in a steady and consistent rhythm
  • 5Control the stick throughout the motions

Tips:

  • Engage your core during the exercise
  • Keep your movements smooth for optimal muscle and joint activation
  • Don't use a stick that is too heavy - keep it light for more reps
  • This exercise can also be done with qualified fitness bands
