Instructions:

  • 1Stand upright, set your feet hip-width apart, place the towel under your right foot
  • 2Slide your right foot diagonally behind your left foot and bend your knees like performing a lunge
  • 3Hold the bottom position briefly
  • 4Pull your right foot back to the start, driving through your left foot
  • 5Repeat for the desired number of reps and then switch sides

Tips:

  • Keep your core braced throughout the movement
  • Maintain an upright posture, do not let your torso lean forward
  • Focus on the mind-muscle connection with your glutes during the exercise
  • Make sure your knees don't extend past your toes when lunging
