Instructions:

  • 1Sit on the floor with your knees bent, pull your abs to your spine, and lean back a few inches while keeping your back straight.
  • 2Hold your hands on your chest.
  • 3Slowly twist your body to the right, then to the left to complete one rep.
  • 4Keep your movements smooth and controlled.
  • 5Repeat for desired number of reps.

Tips:

  • Keep your spine straight during the twisting motion.
  • Breathe out when you twist, and breathe in when you return to the center.
  • Engage your core throughout the exercise.
  • For added challenge, try doing this exercise on an unstable surface like a BOSU ball.
