Instructions:

  • 1Stand facing the boxing bag with your left foot back and left shoulder facing the bag
  • 2Lift your right knee up to your waist
  • 3Swing your right foot around in a smooth motion, striking the bag with the bottom of your foot
  • 4Return your foot back to its starting position
  • 5Switch to your left foot and repeat

Tips:

  • Keep your hands up in a defensive position throughout the exercise
  • Focus on a smooth, fluid motion with each kick
  • Try to keep your balance by engaging your core throughout the entire movement
  • Don't kick too hard if you're a beginner, gradually increase the power of your kicks as you get more comfortable
