Instructions:

  • 1Sit on an incline bench with dumbbells in each hand at shoulder height
  • 2Lean back and extend your elbows to push the weights above your chest
  • 3Pause for a moment at the top of the lift
  • 4Lower the weights back down to shoulder height in a slow and controlled manner
  • 5Repeat for the desired number of repetitions

Tips:

  • Keep your feet firmly planted on the ground for stability
  • Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the lift
  • Make sure your back stays flat on the bench throughout the exercise
  • Exhale when lifting the weights and inhale when lowering them
