V-up with Clap demonstration gif

Instructions:

  • 1Lie down on your back with your legs and arms spread out
  • 2Gather momentum and lift both your hands and legs simultaneously gathering them together above your body
  • 3Attempt to clap your hands around your raised legs while keeping your legs straight
  • 4Slowly lower your hands and legs back to the starting position
  • 5Repeat for the desired number of repetitions

Tips:

  • Ensure your movements are controlled and purposeful
  • While in motion, make sure your lower back is always in contact with the floor to avoid injury
  • Exhale when lifting your body and inhale when lowering yourself again
  • Try not to let your hands or legs touch the floor between reps for an added challenge
