Squat Tip Toe demonstration gif

Instructions:

  • 1Stand straight with your feet hip-width apart
  • 2Slowly lower your body into a squat position
  • 3While at the bottom of the squat, raise your heels off the ground and stand on your toes
  • 4Hold this position for a few seconds
  • 5Slowly lower your heels and rise to starting position

Tips:

  • Keep your back straight and your chest lifted throughout the movement
  • Engage your abdominals and keep them tight to aid in balance
  • Try not to let your knees extend past your toes during the squat
  • Breathe in when you lower your body, and breathe out when you rise back up
