Instructions:

  • 1Start in a relaxed stance with your jump rope in hands
  • 2Begin skipping, pushing off and landing on the balls of your feet
  • 3Make sure your jumps are high enough for the rope to pass under your feet each time
  • 4Maintain a steady and rhythmic pace
  • 5Continue for the desired number of reps or until fatigue

Tips:

  • Keep your elbows close to your body to allow your wrists to do most of the work
  • Try to land lightly to minimize impact on the knees and ankles
  • Maintain a good posture throughout, with your core engaged
  • Increase speed gradually to avoid early burn out
