Instructions:

  • 1Start by lying flat on your back, legs extended and arms stretched above your head
  • 2Bring your knees towards your chest, while simultaneously curling your upper body up without lifting your lower back off the floor
  • 3Once your body is in a 'curled' position, with your knees close to your chest and your arms around your knees if possible, hold the pose for a few seconds
  • 4Unroll your body slowly back into the starting position

Tips:

  • Ensure your back is flat against the ground when you unroll
  • Keep your movements slow and controlled to engage your core muscles
  • Do not strain your neck during the exercise, keep it relaxed
  • Breathe in as you curl up and breathe out as you uncurl
