
Instructions:
- 1Lie on your back on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand
- 2Extend your arms straight up, perpendicular to the body
- 3Lower the dumbbells in an arc on either side of your body until you feel a stretch in your chest
- 4Pull the dumbbells back up along the same arc, squeezing your chest muscles
- 5Repeat the movement for your chosen number of reps
Tips:
- Keep your arms slightly bent at all times, do not fully lock your elbows
- Perform the motion slowly and controlled to prevent injury
- Visualize hugging a tree to get the correct form
- Breathe out as you lift the dumbbells, and breathe in as you lower them
