Instructions:

  • 1Begin in a high plank position with a dumbbell in each hand, directly under your shoulders
  • 2Keeping your body still and core engaged, lift one dumbbell to your side, squeezing your shoulder blade
  • 3Lower the dumbbell back to the ground slowly
  • 4Repeat this process with the other hand
  • 5Continue to alternate sides for the desired number of reps

Tips:

  • Keep your body as still as possible throughout the movement
  • Remember to exhale on the row and inhale on the release
  • Maintain a neutral gaze, looking slightly ahead
  • Ensure your dumbbells are secure and will not roll during exercise
