Instructions:

  • 1Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, holding the medicine ball with both hands.
  • 2Lift the medicine ball above your head, fully extending your arms.
  • 3Slam the ball down in front of your feet with as much force as possible.
  • 4Bend your knees and squat to pick up the ball.
  • 5Repeat the movement.

Tips:

  • Engage your core throughout the motion.
  • Use your entire body to generate the force needed to slam the ball.
  • Control the movement, don't just let gravity do the work.
  • Make sure to lift with your legs, not your back when picking up the ball.
