Instructions:

  • 1Hold a dumbbell with both hands over your head, elbows close to your head
  • 2Slowly lower the dumbbell down behind your head
  • 3Keep your upper arms still throughout the movement
  • 4Raise the dumbbell back until your elbows are nearly straight
  • 5Squeeze your triceps at the top of the movement

Tips:

  • Perform the movement in a controlled manner
  • Keep your elbows as close to your head as possible
  • Remember to breathe correctly, exhale when you raise the dumbbell and inhale when you lower it
  • Maintain a tight core for balance throughout the exercise
