Instructions:

  • 1Stand in a fighting stance with your right foot in front
  • 2Turn your body to the right and lift your left leg
  • 3Swing your left leg around towards the right, extending it fully
  • 4Quickly retract your left leg and pivot back to your starting position
  • 5Repeat with the opposite leg

Tips:

  • Power for the kick comes from the hips and torso, not the leg alone
  • Try to keep your body upright during the kick to maintain balance
  • Do not overextend your leg to avoid injury
  • Flex your foot at the end of the kick for extra power
