Smith Squat to Bench demonstration gif

Instructions:

  • 1Position the Smith machine bar on the shoulder level
  • 2Stand under the bar with feet shoulder-width apart
  • 3Bend the knees and hips to lower the bar until you touch the bench
  • 4Extend the knees to raise the bar back to starting position

Tips:

  • Keep your back straight during the exercise
  • Stay in line with the bar during the movement
  • Make sure the knees do not go beyond the toes while squatting
  • Squeeze the glutes when rising up
